Yes, all ceramic products are dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. However, I recommend hand washing them to help preserve their condition and minimize potential wear or damage over time.
If you did purchase a piece that has a slight crack or imperfection, only hand-wash it to make sure the product doesn’t get more damaged.
However, if a piece has significant textured areas, I do recommend frequently cleaning it in a dishwasher or with boiling water to disinfect the textured areas.
For the majority of my pieces, I use smooth red clay and a combination of food-safe glazes for food-related products. The vases may contain metal in the glazes, which isn't food-safe and can't be microwaved.
Yes!! These products are meant for you to enjoy and use every day. With that being said, handmade ceramic pieces should be cared for properly to ensure longevity.
